Prerequisites:   Solid AutoCAD skills on the intermediate level.  3D knowledge not necessary.  Fundamental knowledge of AutoCAD Map 3D.

In this two day workshop participants will learn GIS concepts and principles and how they relate to a CAD-centric world. Topics covered will include issues with GIS and CAD integration as well as the interoperability methods and tools, such as the powerful FDO technology, that help make these processes seamless. AutoCAD Map 3D is the primary workshop application to be used, but a variety of additional productivity tools will be explored.
